Kia Sportage Si Premium and Cerato Sport 2017 | new car sales price
Kia Australia has added new model grades to its Sportage mid-size SUV and Cerato small car line-ups.
Priced from $30,900 before on-roads costs, the petrol-powered Si Premium will help bridge the gap between the Si and SLi variants in the Sportage range.
Equipment levels include 18-inch alloy wheels, 7.0-inch multimedia system with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, automatic climate control, LED daytime running lights, front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers and auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Available paint colours include (no-cost) 'Clear White', as well as premium 'Mineral Silver', 'Fiery Red' and 'Sparkling Silver' hues.
Sharing its 114kW/192Nm 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with the rest of the Sportage line-up, the Si Premium is exclusively paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Meanwhile, the Cerato hatch and sedan range has dropped the S Premium model grade in favour of the Sport variant, which will set buyers back $22,450 drive-away.
Its feature list extends to 17-inch alloys with full-size spare, 7.0-inch touchscreen multimedia, with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, faux leather steering wheel and shift lever trim, chrome interior door handles, soft-touch upper door interior trim, aero blade wipers, Sport badging and a rear spoiler for the sedan version.
Similar to the Sportage, the Cerato is offered with 'Clear White' paint, while its premium colours differ, including 'Silky Silver', 'Snow White Pearl' and 'Metal Stream'.
The Sport employs the same powerplant and transmission combination as the Sportage Si Premium.
